We are located in Kragujevac,
in Serbia and Montenegro, country with a huge scientific and technical potential
located in South-Eastern Europe. Kragujevac is one of the scientific and educational
centres of Serbia, with a population of approximately 200 000 people.
Owing to the presence of several faculties dealing with computer science and our
very tight connections with them, we have an opportunity to reinforce our professional

Co-founders and two leading man of this offshore IT outsourcing company are two colleagues
from the local University.

Novica Lukic, Founder & CEO
Novica has four years experience in web development, excellent organizational and
management skills with ability to find creative solutions to challenging problems.
Before founding SoftSerbia, one of first software outsourcing companies in Serbia,
he worked as teaching assistant at the local Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.
He likes science, sports, watching and competing in quizzes. He is member of Mensa.

Dalibor Ilijevski, Founder & CTO
Dalibor is experienced, highest-class software engineer, having excellent knowledge of
operating system Linux, previously working as research assistant at the local Faculty
of Mechanical Engineering. At the position of CTO he has proven his excellent organizational
and management abilities and together with Novica he builds and guides the SoftSerbia team
in tune with company's business goals.
We have no problems involving as many highly qualified and educated experts, as it is needed for bringing your project to its perfect end, on time and within your budget.
PHP/MySQL Web Developers
Most of our projects are Web applications, some of them are written in Cold Fusion, Perl, ASP or Python but most of them are written using PHP scripting language in combination with MySQL database. That is the reason why our team is mostly consisted of experienced PHP/MySQL developers. They are responsible for carrying out designated technical portions of the project from start to finish.
Besides some standard modules built by our PHP/MySQL developers that we reuse from application to application, we also commonly use some OpenSource solutions for handling standard features in Web applications, like session management, authentication and permissions handling. For those tasks as well as for database access abstraction we use in PHP world well known PHPLIB library. For separating application logic and content from its presentation and design we use Smarty templates, the best PHP template engine today.
C++ & Java Developers
For development of desktop, cross and mobile platform applications we prefer using C++ or Java. We are proud to have some of the brightest and most experienced C++ and Java developers in Serbia in our team.
Web & Graphic Designers
We don't want our programmers to mess up with HTML and Web designers mucking around with PHP code. To achieve that we use Smarty templates in our PHP/MySQL projects. After the requirements documents are done, the designer makes mockups of the interface and gives them to the programmer. The programmer implements the logic in PHP and uses interface mockups to create skeleton templates. The project is then handed off to the HTML designer who brings the templates up to their full glory. The project may go back and forth between programming and HTML a couple of times.
Our Designers are visionary, creative and productive. They possess specialized skills in various fields of Internet-based graphic design: illustration, image processing, color/design, layout, sound, animation production, creativity and artistry, etc.
System Administrators
The System Administrators integrate and install the software application on-line and together with the technical team test the system before and after it's on-line release. After the successful completion of the project they take care of the web site's maintenance and support, as well as monitor traffic. Their role in the long-term evolution of projects is crucial.
